Veterinary Interests: Minimizing health risks and managing long term health needs have always been my primary interests and goals. Meeting the medical and surgical needs of my patients is my daily goal.

Personal Interests: In addition to strong interests in local schools, community issues, and my family; I like to travel, ski, hike and sea kayak.

Pets: Forty odd 'farm folks' including four dogs, four cats, two horses, Echo the Gecko, fish and assorted chickens.


Pat Richardson, DVM

Veterinary Interests: I completed an internship/residency program and taught as an assistant professor at Washington State University in 1975-1978. While at WSU, I concentrated on small animal internal medicine and surgery, which are my primary areas of interest to this day. I have focused on veterinary dentistry over the past 15 years, and have been in private practice in Seattle since 1978.

Personal Interests: I live in North Seattle with my wife, teenage son, dog, and 2 cats. My favorite activities away from work are family life, continuing education, winter skiing, and summer bicycling.

Pets: Sofie, Pomeranian, Griffey, black and white domestic short haired cat, Red Mon, orange domestic short haired cat

Stuart Spencer, DVM

Veterinary Interests: I have a special interest in well patient care, geriatrics, internal medicine, endoscopy and laser surgery.

Personal Interests: Outside of work , I have a strong interest in international development and resource management. My hobbies include; fly fishing, sea kayaking, mountain biking, soap stone carving, snow skiing and snow shoeing.

Pets: Sage, a Labrador Retriever and Shadow a Lhasa Apso with a talent for challenging all of my medical abilities with his many chronic illnesses.

Veterinary Interests: Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, Exotics, Emergency Medicine and Endoscopy Above all, I have a strong interest in people and animals. The relationship between my patients and their owners is the reason I am in this profession.

Personal Interests: Fishing- strong interest in fly-fishing, skiing, camping/backpacking, and photography
